Studying animals aims to foster a deep respect for nature, develop empathy and responsibility, and promote scientific curiosity.

Identify and classify animals as either oviparous (egg-laying) or viviparous (live-birthing). Verify the classifications using a control chart.

This set includes:

• 24 animal cards
• category cards with pronunciation
• 3 sets of explanation cards (from simple to more complex)
• 2 control charts (one with labels, one without)
  

The animal cards are in a three-part format:

• 24 cards with labels
• 24 cards without labels
• 24 labels

To use three-part cards, match the labels to the corresponding pictures. Verify the matches using the control cards with the labels.

Animal cards are approx. 3¼" x 4", control charts are 8½" x 11".
