Studying animals helps children understand animal characteristics while building observation and critical-thinking skills.

Identify and classify animals by the number of legs they have: limbless, unipedal, bipedal, quadrupedal, hexapedal, octapedal, and decapedal. Then, verify the classifications using the control charts.
