Animals and Their Habitats Sorting - Cut & Paste

Studying animal habitats aims to foster children's understanding of the natural world, their connection to it, and the interdependence of living things, while also developing vocabulary, matching skills, and reading abilities.

This is a cut-and-paste activity. Cut out the animals. Identify and classify the animals that live in 5 habitats (ocean, tundra, forest, desert, and grassland). Verify the classifications using the control chart. Glue the animals on the blank chart.

This set includes:

  • 30 pictures of animals
  • 1 control chart
  • 1 blank chart

There are two versions of the cut-out pictures: one set is organized in a classified order, while the other is in random order, providing a greater challenge. Additionally, there are two variants: one set is labeled, and the other is not.

This material aligns with the "Animals and Their Habitats" photographic material, but there are only six animals per habitat instead of seven

The control chart is approx. 8½" x 11".
