Animal Adaptations Sorting - Cut & Paste

In the Montessori approach, studying animal adaptations helps children understand the natural world, develop scientific thinking, and appreciate the interconnectedness of life by examining how animals survive and thrive in their specific environments.

This is a cut-and-paste activity. Cut out the animals. Identify and classify the animals according to their adaptation characteristics. Check the classification using the control chart. Glue the animals onto the blank chart.

This set includes:

• 16 pictures of animals 
• 1 blank chart
• 1 control chart

There are two versions of the cut-out pictures: one set is organized in a classified order, while the other is in random order, providing a greater challenge. Additionally, there are two variants: one set is labeled, and the other is not.

The control chart is approx. 7" x 7½".
