Starfish Nomenclature - Cards (red)

The term 'nomenclature' originates from the Latin word nomenclatura, which means 'assigning names.' Nomenclature enriches vocabulary, develops language skills, and enhances the understanding of concepts.

The Starfish Nomenclature Cards are formatted in 3-part cards and include a blackline master. The 11 parts of the starfish: starfish, rays, central disc, madreporite, tube feet, eyespots, spines, ambulacral groove, mouth, aboral view, and oral view.

After the children have learned the individual parts, they can create their own booklet by coloring and labeling the blackline master.
