Soluble & Insoluble

Lessons on soluble and insoluble materials are taught to foster scientific observation, experimentation, and understanding of the properties of matter.

Identify and classify substances that are either soluble or insoluble. Then, verify the classification using the control chart.

This set includes:

• 12 pictures of soluble substances
• 12 pictures of insoluble substances
• 2 category cards
• 1 control chart

To create a set of 3-part cards, print the cards twice. Cut the labels off one set and leave them intact on the other. To use three-part cards, match the labels to the corresponding pictures. Verify the matches using the control cards with the labels.

Picture cards are approx. 4" x 3¼", control chart is 8½" x 11".
