Studying animals helps children develop an understanding of animal characteristics while also fostering observation and critical thinking skills.

Identify and classify animals according to whether they have scales, feathers, or fur. Verify the classification using the control chart. This is a cut-and-paste activity.

There are two versions of the cut-out pictures: one in classified order and the other in random order, providing a greater challenge.
