Studying nocturnal and diurnal animals helps children develop an understanding of animal behavior, classification, and adaptation, while also building observation and critical thinking.

Identify and classify animals that are nocturnal (active at night) or diurnal (active during the day). Verify the classification using the control charts.

This set includes:

The animal cards are in a three-part format:

• 16 cards with labels
• 16 cards without labels
• 16 labels

To use these three-part cards, match the labels to their corresponding pictures. Verify the matches with the labeled control cards.
