The Montessori Subtraction Strip Board helps children learn and practice subtraction through a hands-on, concrete approach by visualizing sums, building a foundation for understanding subtraction combinations, and memorizing subtraction facts.

The differences do not exceed 9 due to the board's limitations.

You can print the strip board and strips on letter- or legal-size paper. Print the strips in full colour or with outlines on red, blue, and brown paper to save printer ink.

This material does not include the Math Booklets or Subtraction Equation Slips mentioned in the instructions; however, they are helpful for using this material.
