The Montessori science curriculum encourages children to explore their world while nurturing their sense of wonder.

Energy exists in various forms, including mechanical, chemical, electrical, thermal, radiant (light), sound, and nuclear energy. Additionally, energy can be transformed from one form to another.

This set includes the following concepts: energy, potential energy, kinetic energy, and the seven forms of energy.

Identify and classify the seven forms of energy. Then, verify the classification using the control chart.

Both types of energy (potential and kinetic) and each of the seven forms of energy include the following:

The picture cards are in a three-part format:

pictures with labels

To use three-part cards, match the labels to the corresponding pictures. Verify the matches using the control cards with the labels.

This set also includes:

1 control chart for the two types of energy (kinetic and potential)
1 control chart for the seven forms of energy (chemical, nuclear, thermal, electrical, radiant, mechanical, sound)

The control charts are available with and without labels.
