Fish Definition Set (color)

The term 'nomenclature' derives from the Latin nomenclatura, meaning 'assigning names.' Nomenclature enriches vocabulary, strengthens language skills, and deepens conceptual understanding.

This 5-Part Fish Definition Set describes 15 parts of the fish. It includes the following: fish, eye, dorsal fins, pectoral fin, lateral line, pelvic fin, caudal fin, anal fin, operculum, mouth, scales, head, gills, body, and nostril.

Includes:

  1. three-part cards (15 cards with labels, 15 cards without labels, 15 labels)
  2. definition book
  3. picture and description cards
  4. description cards and labels
  5. sentence strips
  6. blackline master

To use three-part cards, match the labels to the corresponding pictures. Verify the matches using the control cards with the labels.

After the children learn the individual parts, they can create their own booklet by coloring and labeling the blackline master.
