Coniferous & Deciduous Tree Sorting

Montessori education emphasizes a deep connection with the natural world, and trees are a beautiful way to introduce children to botany and the environment.

Identify and classify trees as either coniferous or deciduous. Verify the classification using a control chart.

This set includes:

• 2 category cards
• 20 picture cards
• 2 control charts (one with labels, one without)

The picture cards are in a three-part format:

• 20 cards with labels
• 20 cards without labels
• 20 labels

To use three-part cards, match the labels to the corresponding pictures. Verify the matches using the control cards with the labels.

Sorting cards are approx. 3½" x 3½", control chart is 8½" x 11".
