Types of Birds (color-coded)

In Montessori education, teaching about vertebrates aims to foster a child's understanding of the natural world, develop scientific thinking, and connect them to their environment through exploration and categorization of living organisms.

This set includes 8 types of birds: loon, cardinal, roseate spoonbill, brown pelican, gentoo penguin, blue jay, barn owl, and bald eagle.

These cards are formatted in a three-part card series. To use these cards, match the labels to the corresponding pictures. Verify the matches using the control cards with the labels attached.

Cards with labels are approx. 3½" x 3¼", cards without labels are approx. 1" shorter. Cards have orange borders.
