Geometric Shapes Sorting Cards & Chart

The goal of the geometric shapes sorting lesson is to help children develop visual discrimination, cognitive abilities, and fine motor skills by exploring and categorizing shapes, thereby promoting a sense of order and organization in their surroundings.

Identify and classify the shapes. Then, verify the classifications using the control chart. Shapes in this set: circle, triangle, ellipse, oval, pentagon, rhombus, parallelogram, trapezium, square, and rectangle. 

This set includes:

  • 10 labeled geometric shapes
  • 30 picture cards for sorting
  • 1 control chart

Cards are approx. 3" x 3½", control chart is approx. 8½" x 11".
