Types of Pollution

Understanding different types of pollution is essential for promoting environmental awareness, responsibility, and critical thinking skills. This knowledge ultimately empowers children to become informed and engaged citizens who are capable of tackling real-world environmental challenges.

Identify and classify six types of pollution: noise, air, water, land, thermal, and radioactive. Use the control chart to verify the classifications.

To create a set of 3-part cards, print the cards twice. Cut the labels off one set and leave them intact on the other. To use three-part cards, match the labels to the corresponding pictures. Verify the matches using the control cards with the labels.

Cards are approx. 4" x 3¼", control charts are 8½" x 11".
