States of Matter - Blackline Masters

Understanding the states of matter helps children grasp why different substances behave as they do and lays a foundation for more complex scientific concepts in the future.

Identify, sort, and classify matter into three states: solid, liquid, and gas. Use a control chart to verify the classification. This is a cut & paste activity.

This set includes:

Contains two versions of the cut-out images: one in classified order and one in random order for added challenge.
