States of Matter - Blackline Masters

Understanding the states of matter helps children grasp why different substances behave as they do, laying a foundation for more complex scientific concepts in the future.

Identify and classify matter into three states: solid, liquid, and gas. Use the control chart to verify the classification. This is a cut-and-paste activity.

This set includes:

• 8 pictures of matter in a solid state
• 8 pictures of matter in a liquid state
• 8 pictures of matter in a gas state
• 1 blank chart
• 1 control chart

There are two versions of the cut-out pictures: one in classified order and the other in random order, providing a greater challenge.

The control chart is approx. 8½" x 11".
