Food Groups

In a Montessori setting, learning about food aims to foster a child's understanding of the world, develop practical life skills, and encourage healthy eating habits.

This set is a great addition to a unit on health and nutrition.

Identify, sort, and classify food into six food groups. Then, verify the classification using the control chart. 

This set includes:

• category cards
• information card for each group
  
• 6 photographic cards representing each food group
• 54 photographic sorting cards (9 for each food group)
• 1 control chart
