Flower Nomenclature - Cards

The term 'nomenclature' originates from the Latin word nomenclatura, which means 'assigning names.' Nomenclature enriches vocabulary, develops language skills, and enhances the understanding of concepts.

The Flower Nomenclature Cards are formatted in 3-part cards and include a blackline master. The 14 parts of a flower: flower, petal, corolla, pistil, stigma, style, ovary, stamens, filaments, anthers, sepal, calyx, receptacle, and peduncle.

Includes:

After the children have learned the individual parts, they can create their own booklet by coloring and labeling the blackline master.

Cards with labels are approx. 3¾" x 4", cards without labels are approx. 1" shorter.
