Bead Bar Subtraction - Simple

The color bead bar subtraction aims to helps children visualize and understand subtraction through hands-on manipulation, building a concrete grasp of numbers.

This bead bar subtraction work includes 54 equations, with differences not exceeding 9 (static subtraction).

You can complete this work without using the bead bars during the lesson. However, it is more effective and offers a richer sensory experience when the child can physically touch and manipulate the bead bars. If you are using the bead bars to demonstrate the equation, then you will need 1 set of the color bead stair and 1 set of the negative bead stair (dark grey/light grey).

The bead bars are colored according to traditional Montessori colors. If your bead bars have a different color scheme, you can use the black and white set and create a master copy that follows your own color scheme.
