Elephant Nomenclature - Cards (red)

The term 'nomenclature' derives from the Latin nomenclatura, meaning 'assigning names.' Nomenclature enriches vocabulary, develops language skills, and enhances the understanding of concepts.

The Elephant Nomenclature Cards are formatted as 3-part cards and include a blackline master. The 10 parts of the elephant: elephant, body, ear, eye, feet, hind legs, tail, trunk, tusks, and forelegs.

Includes:

  • 10 cards with labels
  • 10 cards without labels
  • 10 labels
  • 1 blackline master

To use three-part cards, match the labels to the corresponding pictures. Verify the matches using the control cards with the labels.

After the children have learned the individual parts, they can create their own booklet by coloring and labeling the blackline master.

Cards with labels are approx. 3¾" x 4", cards without labels are approx. 1" shorter, labels are approx. 1".
