Giraffe Nomenclature - Cards

The term 'nomenclature' derives from the Latin nomenclatura, meaning 'assigning names.' Nomenclature enriches vocabulary, develops language skills, and enhances the understanding of concepts.

The Giraffe Nomenclature Cards are formatted as 3-part card and include a blackline master. The 12 parts of the giraffe: giraffe, head, neck, body, hind legs, forelegs, tail, hooves, ossicones, ears, mane, and eye. 

Includes:

• 12 cards with labels
• 12 cards without labels
• 12 labels
• 1 blackline master

To use three-part cards, match the labels to the corresponding pictures. Verify the matches using the control cards with the labels.

After the children have learned the individual parts, they can create their own booklet by coloring and labeling the blackline master.

Cards are approx. 7¼" x 5".
