Layers of the Earth Nomenclature - Cards

Montessori education includes astronomy, known as "cosmic education," to inspire wonder and curiosity about the universe. This approach encourages children to understand their place in the cosmos and to develop scientific thinking skills.

Earth Nomenclature Cards include the following terms: Earth, crust, mantle, outer core, and inner core.

To use these three-part cards, match the labels to the corresponding pictures. Verify the matches with the control cards and their attached labels.

Includes:

• 5 cards with labels
• 5 cards without labels
• 5 labels
• 1 blackline master

After the children learn the individual parts, they can create their own booklet by coloring and labeling the blackline master.

Cards with labels are approx. 3¾" x 4", cards without labels are approx. 1" shorter, labels are approx. 1".
