Sense of Taste Sorting - Cut & Paste

The Montessori method emphasizes the importance of the five senses in enhancing and refining a child's sensory perception. This fosters a deeper understanding of the world and nurtures cognitive and language skills.

This is a cut-and-paste activity. Cut out the pictures. Identify and classify foods by their flavors: sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and umami. Verify the classifications using the control chart. Then, glue the pictures onto the blank chart.

 This set includes:

  • 15 pictures
  • 1 blank chart
  • 1 control chart

There are two versions of the cut-out pictures: one set is organized in a classified order, while the other is in random order, providing a greater challenge. Additionally, there are two variants: one set is labeled, and the other is not.

The control chart is approx. 6" x 10½".
