Seahorse Nomenclature - Cards

The term 'nomenclature' derives from the Latin nomenclatura, meaning 'assigning names.' Nomenclature enriches vocabulary, develops language skills, and enhances the understanding of concepts.

The Seahorse Nomenclature Cards are formatted as 3-part cards and include a blackline master. The 13 parts of a male seahorse: seahorse, head, eye, snout, coronet, keel, anal fin, tail, dorsal fin, brood pouch, trunk, pectoral fin, and gill opening.

To use three-part cards, match the labels to the corresponding pictures. Verify the matches using the control cards with the labels.
