Parts of Plants Sorting

Montessori education emphasizes a deep connection with the natural world, and plants are a beautiful way to introduce children to botany and the environment.

Identify and classify the picture cards into the five parts of a plant: seeds, roots, stems, leaves, and flowers. Then, use a control chart to verify the classification.

This set includes:

• 5 category cards
• 15 picture cards
• 2 control charts (one with labels, one without)

The picture cards are in a three-part format:

• 15 cards with labels
• 15 cards without labels
  
• 15 labels

To use three-part cards, match the labels to the corresponding pictures. Verify the matches using the control cards with the labels.

Sorting cards are approx. 3½" x 3½", control chart is 8½" x 11".
