Magnetic & Non-Magnetic Sorting - Cut & Paste

Studying magnetism helps children gain a better understanding of the world around them, fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and appreciation for science.

This is a cut-and-paste activity. Cut out the pictures. Identify and classify the pictures into magnetic or non-magnetic. Verify the classifications using the control chart. Then, glue the pictures onto the blank chart.

This set includes:

  • 7 pictures of magnetic objects
  • 7 pictures of non-magnetic objects
  • 1 blank chart
  • 1 control chart

There are two versions of the cut-out pictures: one set is organized in a classified order, while the other is in random order, providing a greater challenge. Additionally, there are two variants: one set is labeled, and the other is not.

The control chart is approx. 8½" x 11".
